Amanqaku:
(1) I-electrode kufuneka ifakwe kumgca odlulayo wombhobho ophambili. Ivalvu kufuneka ifakwe kwicala elingaphambili ukulawula isantya sokuhamba kwamanzi. Ukuhamba kwamanzi kufuneka kube sezantsi kangangoko kunokwenzeka; ngokubanzi, ukuthontsiza okuzinzileyo okuvela kwindawo yokuphuma kwamanzi kwanele. I-electrode kufuneka ifakwe ngokuthe nkqo kwaye ifakwe kulwelo oluhambayo. Indawo yokuphuma kufuneka ibe phezulu kunokungena kwamanzi ukuqinisekisa ukuba i-electrode ingena ngokupheleleyo kwisisombululo.
(2) I-electrode kufuneka ilinganiswe ngaphambi kokuba ifakwe.
(3) Isignali yokulinganisa sisignali yombane ebuthathaka. Intambo yesignali kufuneka ijikelezwe ngokwahlukeneyo kwaye akufuneki iqhagamshelwe kwisixhumi sentambo esinye okanye kwibhloko yesiphelo njengeentambo zombane okanye iintambo zolawulo ukuze kuthintelwe ukuphazamiseka okanye ukonakala kweyunithi yokulinganisa.
(4) Ukuba intambo yokulinganisa kufuneka yolulwe, nceda unxibelelane nomenzi okanye ucacise ngaphambi kokuba uyihambise (ubude obuqhelekileyo yi-10m).
